Context Picker

Framer's native AI agent can see what you've selected on the canvas, using its built in select tool. External agents like Claude Code, Cursor, and Codex don't get that. They only see plain text, so prompts like "make this headline red" leave them guessing which node "this" actually is.

Context Picker closes that gap. Select any layer on the canvas or in the layer sidebar, and it instantly copies a compact JSON payload describing that selection: node ID, name, and the surrounding scope (web page, design page, or component). Paste it straight into your external agent's prompt for precise, unambiguous edits.

What gets copied

Node ID and name of the selected layer
Scope type and ID, whether you're on a web page, design page, or inside a component
URL path, when the scope is a real website page
Replica metadata (original node ID), when the selection is a variant or inherited component layer

How to use it

Open Context Picker
Select any layer on the canvas or sidebar
The JSON is copied automatically, no extra click
Paste it into your external agent's prompt
Need an earlier selection? Recent picks are saved and one click away

Why it matters

If you're driving Framer edits from an external coding agent like Claude Code, Cursor, or Codex, the agent is flying blind without canvas context. Context Picker gives it the same precision Framer's native agent has with its select tool, so instead of vague prompts and trial and error edits, you can say exactly which node to touch and watch it land correctly the first time.

Free and open source.

3Drop is the fastest way to bring 3D into your Framer projects. Turn images into AI-generated 3D models, or any SVG into 3D for free.

Upload an image, generate a production-ready 3D model with AI, and drop it straight onto your canvas. No 3D software. No export pipelines. No technical overhead.

Multiple 3D AI models, one plugin

Choose from a curated set of powerful generation engines including Tripo, Hunyuan, Meshy, Rodin, and Trellis. Single photo or multiple reference angles, 3Drop gives you the right tool for the job. Every model comes back fully textured and ready to use.

SVG to 3D. Free. Forever

Drop any SVG into 3Drop and get back a fully 3D extruded model in seconds. Keep the original fill colors, adjust depth, metalness, and roughness, then add it straight to your Framer canvas. Your logo, your icons, your illustrations. All in 3D. No credits needed, no strings attached.

Web-ready from the start

Every generated model is automatically compressed and optimized the moment it's created. You get beautiful 3D that actually performs in live Framer projects, without touching a single export setting.

Drop it on the canvas, use it live

Models land on your canvas as native Framer code component instances. They're interactive, they're live, and they work exactly like anything else you'd build in Framer.

Preview any model in the built-in 3D viewer before you commit
Orbit, inspect, then insert with one click
Your full generation history lives inside the plugin, come back to any model anytime
Re-insert, download the GLB, or drag straight onto the canvas whenever you need it

Already have 3D assets?

The built-in GLB optimizer lets you upload any existing model and get back a compressed, web-ready version. Useful far beyond AI generation.

Simple, honest pricing

No subscription. Ever. Buy credit packs when you need them and use them at your own pace. Every new account starts with 10 free credits so you can see what 3Drop can do before spending a thing.

3D used to be a specialist skill. Now it's a Framer plugin.

Make your Framer site feel as good as it looks

Web Haptics brings tactile feedback to your Framer projects on mobile. Free to use, invisible on canvas, and dead simple to set up. Works on iOS and Android, triggered on tap.

Setup

Drop it into any layer. Tap that layer on mobile. Feel it.

Preset mode

12 built-in haptic presets for common interactions. Success and Error for feedback moments. Light, Medium, Heavy for intensity. Buzz, Rigid, Nudge for character. Pick one and you're done.

Custom mode

Build your own vibration pattern step by step. Set duration, intensity, and delay for each step using the no-code controls. Or switch to Code mode and paste any pattern directly from haptics.lochie.me.

Note

Haptic feedback is triggered by tap only. It cannot be triggered on any other interaction. Desktop browsers do not support haptics, but enabling "Play Sound" in the component settings lets you test feedback during design.

Context Picker Framer plugin is live, free and open source 🔥

Native in-app agent can see what you select on canvas.

External agents like Claude Code, Cursor, and Codex couldn't, until now.

Select a layer, copy its context, paste it into your agent.

The fastest way to open the plugin is hitting CMD + K in Framer and searching for "Context Picker".

If you find it useful, please give it a like! ❤

"Wait which project is my agent even connected to right now?"

If you've used @Framer external agents, you've probably hit this.

Made a free starter kit that fixes it: one folder, one project, always.

unzip → drop in → say "set up the agent in this folder"

Not gonna make you comment to unlock this one, it's just free.

But if it's useful, a like, bookmark, and comment helps other framer builders actually find it 🙏

A different POV on the Framer review process removal: as a plugin creator, this update is honestly the best thing that happened to me this year.

Most of my plugins aren't just what you see inside Framer, there's also a server, a database and other infra pieces behind the scenes, kind of like a kitchen behind a restaurant.

New features usually meant updating that kitchen too. The catch: the kitchen update goes live instantly, but the new plugin version could sit in review for hours, sometimes a day. During that window, everyone on my old live plugin (restaurant) was being served by a kitchen that had already moved on, and I had to be very careful nothing broke for them.

Now plugin and backend ship together, the moment they're ready. No more split brain. Thank you Framer!
