✎﹏Hikari's Template Development Log.

I set out to create something substantial, with a lot of content and pages, and as a result, the finish line feels a little further away than I expected… But the Careers section is finally starting to take shape in the way I had envisioned. I think this could work well as a standalone recruitment website, too.

I want to spend plenty of time checking everything carefully once the template is complete, so it looks like this will take me through the end of this month. I had hoped to finish it last month, but here we are.

I'll be releasing the Japanese version first. All editable text, including layer names and component names, will be in Japanese. However, I also want to create a fully English version so that users outside Japan don't accidentally purchase the wrong version.

One step at a time. I'll get there!

This template is built around a real estate developer. It includes categories such as Office, Hotel, and Mixed-Use Developments, each with its own project detail pages. Every project also features client testimonials, and these pages are interconnected to encourage visitors to explore more of the site.

Next, I'll be working on the Careers section. There, I plan to connect job listings with employee interview pages in the same way, creating a seamless browsing experience.

Now that AI Agents are available, I'm less worried about adding a bit of complexity. As a result, this will probably become one of the most comprehensive templates I've created.

After exploring different layouts for the inner pages, I've settled on this one for now. It may still evolve as the design comes together.

The Careers and Project Detail pages will probably have their own layouts rather than follow this structure. I'll keep refining everything while looking at the balance of the site as a whole.

START FRAME was originally designed in Japanese and then translated into English.

I'd love to do the same with the template I'm currently working on. But after translating START FRAME and while working on this new template, I've realized something: I don't always know how a site looks from the perspective of native English speakers.

So when it's time to make an English version, I may ask the community for feedback again. Some parts might even need a different structure rather than just a translation.

I think I have a good sense of how to use English naturally on Japanese websites, but creating websites for an English-speaking audience is a different skill, and I'm still learning.

In that sense, I was actually looking forward to having one of my templates reviewed. It happened to be under review when Framer announced the update that removed the review process, so I never received any feedback. That's a little disappointing, but it is what it is.

I'm really grateful to the Framer community for helping me see things from perspectives I wouldn't have noticed on my own.

Whatever I'm creating, I want to approach it sincerely—for my users, and for my own growth as well.

I’m revisiting the site structure.

Just a messy sketch for now, but it’s kind of easier to share this stuff when there aren’t many Japanese people around here. ✍

I thought this community could be a nice place to document the journey, so I'll post updates from time to time. It might change dramatically before it's finished. 🙄

As usual, I’ve started a new Japanese Framer template—aiming for something clean, simple, and versatile.

I originally made this as a Japanese-language template, hoping it might help grow the number of Framer users in Japan. Later, I expanded it into an English version for a wider audience.

One unexpected benefit is that it works exceptionally well with AI Agents. It enables batch updates across pages and generates new sections that match your brand’s tone and style. I believe this is possible because every detail of the template, including its internal structure, was carefully crafted by hand.

The Logo Gradient is really fun. I tried it with icons I made myself. They look cute and shiny, and I like the hover effect. I want to make a template with it, but I’m still thinking about what kind of theme fits best.

法人税務顧問・会社設立支援・労務顧問・相続相談・確定申告の5つのサービス詳細ページを含む全16ページを構築し、税理士法人としての堅実さと親しみを両立したビジュアルに仕上げています。

I designed and built the corporate website for a tax accounting firm based in Tokyo and Nagoya, handling everything myself — from information architecture and visual design to Framer development.

The website consists of 16 pages in total, including five dedicated service pages covering corporate tax advisory, company incorporation support, labor advisory, inheritance consulting, and tax return filing.

I aimed to create a visual identity that balances the reliability expected of a tax firm with an approachable and friendly feel.

I also set up GA4, Google Search Console, and Microsoft Clarity to support ongoing analysis and continuous improvement after launch.

I'm trying to tidy up my Gallery page because I want to add a new client project. I also want to update the media on my own site, but I can't seem to get it to work. Does anyone know how the Gallery Byline works?

Tried to upload a component since the review process is gone now, but I got a “failed to save component” error 😅 I’ll give it another try later.

I’m hoping this Marketplace change turns out to be a good thing.

That said, I actually liked the review process because it pushed me to polish and improve my work.

Maybe from now on, this community can become a place where creators inspire each other and keep getting better together 🤝😊

Anyway… at this point, I just want to get rid of the error and publish my component ✌
