Concept

Had the double-border problem on my "grid" style cards.

Solved it with a single variant. Position absolute, overlap border (in this case cross and lines) 2px on the right and bottom, then set overflow to visible. Done. No headaches. ✌

(still won't work if your borders use any transparency)
