Lumo Frame Scrub

The page scroll scrubs your video frame by frame, forward and backward, with blocks of copy that appear at the moments you choose. Tuned to scrub smoothly on phones too.

What you can change

• Video — An mp4 or webm encoded for scrubbing (see Media you provide)

• Poster — Shown before metadata arrives and in static mode

• Steps — Copy blocks, each with an At progress between 0 and 1

• Step window — Progress span a step stays visible

• Step position — Bottom left, Bottom center, Center or Top left

• Dim — Darkening over the video

• Scroll length — Viewport heights the scrub takes

Good to know

• Every option lives in the properties panel; no code needed.

• Respects reduced motion: visitors who ask for less motion get a calm static version.

• Responsive: no horizontal scroll at phone, tablet or desktop widths.

• Needs an mp4 encoded for seeking (short GOP, faststart, no audio). The listing shows the one-line ffmpeg command.
