About Lumo Page Morph

Wrap an image and give it a shared name: when visitors navigate to a page that has the same name, the image morphs smoothly from one page to the next, using the browser's native view transitions.

What you can change

  • Image — The media

  • Shared name — The view-transition-name; use the same on the destination page's media

  • Link — Where a click goes

  • Morph — Duration of the cross-page morph (500ms)

  • Enter delay / Enter time / Enter offset — The entrance on mount: wait (50ms), duration (600ms), rise (24px)

  • Radius — Corner radius (0)

Good to know

  • Every option lives in the properties panel; no code needed.

  • Respects reduced motion: visitors who ask for less motion get a calm static version.

  • Responsive: no horizontal scroll at phone, tablet or desktop widths.

  • Uses cross-document view transitions; needs a browser that supports them and the same name on the next page.

  • Installs from one link; its shared Hero Kit helpers come with it.

  • Licence: Framer's single-use commercial licence (one project).
