About Magazine Carousel
An editorial carousel for portfolios, lookbooks and case studies. One frame in focus, the rest quietly dimmed, a numbered caption under every image.
It loops without a seam in both directions. Drag it and it carries on with a little inertia, then settles exactly on a frame. Trackpad swipes, arrow keys and the Prev / Next buttons all work.
Slides: image, title, meta line and an optional link for each frame. Add as many as you like.
Slide W, W / H, Gap and Side Inset: from wide landscape frames to tall portrait cards.
Align: start the active frame on the left edge or hold it in the centre.
Dim Others: the frames out of focus step back so the active one leads.
Title, Meta and Index fonts, Color and Muted: set it to your type, light or dark.
Controls and Progress: Prev / Next with an "01 / 08" counter, and a fine progress line. Each can be switched off.
Autoplay and Interval: advances on its own, pauses while the pointer is over it and when the tab is hidden.
Settle: how long a flick keeps travelling before it snaps.
Accessible: real buttons, keyboard support and a counter announced to screen readers. Respects reduced motion. On the canvas and in static exports it renders a still, correctly laid out frame.
Zero dependencies and no network requests. Ships with eight demo photographs so it works the moment you drop it in. The demo photographs are AI-generated placeholders; replace them with your own work.
