About Timeline Slider
About
Timeline Slider is a free Framer timeline component that turns milestones into an unfolding story. Cards open in two stages from their marker dots as light travels along the rail. The selected moment stays centered, with neighboring entries folded until explored.
Visitors can swipe, drag, use arrows or navigate by keyboard. Switch to a vertical timeline to unfold entries as the page scrolls. Optional images, readable descriptions and project links give each chapter its own place.
What you can customize
Build up to 30 entries with dates, titles, descriptions, optional images, alt text and links. Choose light, dark or custom colors, then shape the typography, card sizes, spacing, image proportions and accent glow.
Control when cards open, which entries stay expanded and how they refold. Choose word-by-word, typewriter, fade or instant text reveals. Add a first-card introduction or horizontal autoplay. Adapt arrow controls and content padding to your layout, from a compact portfolio to a spacious story section. Motion respects reduced-motion preferences.
