CMS Translator

Translate your Framer CMS collections in one click, with no API key. Each language gets its own collection, and Sync re-translates the articles you change. One collection is free, PRO is €29 once. Framer Localization charges €20 a month per language.

Open the CMS, click + Add Collection and pick CMS Translator. Choose a collection and a language, and Instant translates it. You get a new collection, like Blog FR, that you bind to a /fr/blog page.

For a large collection, use your own DeepL key, copy the prompt into ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini, or write each item in the plugin's editor. 54 languages are built in, plus any ISO code.

The plugin writes only once the translation has succeeded, so a failed run changes nothing. Rich text keeps its links and formatting, galleries are copied, alt text is translated and drafts stay drafts. Reference fields are named before you start.

Sync shows what it will do before it runs. It translates new items, translates the changed ones again and removes deleted ones. A field you edited by hand stays as you wrote it, unless you choose to replace it.

Slugs stay untranslated by default, so Page Translator's Language Switcher takes visitors from /blog/my-article to /fr/blog/my-article. The glossary keeps brand names intact.

With Framer Localization, 4 languages cost about €960 a year. CMS Translator works on any Framer plan.

The free plan translates one collection into one language with any method, Instant included up to about 15,000 characters. Glossary, editor and custom languages are free too.

PRO covers every collection and every language, with Sync. Instant handles 500,000 characters a month, then your own DeepL key takes over. The Translation Pack adds Page Translator, €39 for both.

CMS Translator doesn't write into Framer Localization. If your CMS is already translated by hand there, you don't need this plugin.
