About Platebook
Platebook is a free portfolio template for Framer that helps product and brand designers show their work like a printed plate book. A giant name, numbered plates that develop from one-ink grey into colour under your cursor, and case studies that say how many days each project took.
Perfect for
Product and UX designers going live on their own domain this month
Brand and packaging designers who want the work to lead
Freelancers who quote projects and want the site to show real numbers
What makes it different
Plates that develop. Move over a plate and the photo develops into colour with a wobbly trail that closes again; on phones a touch does the same and a one-time sweep shows how. Turned off for visitors who prefer reduced motion.
Plates, not cards. Every project is a numbered plate with a caption line, parallax photo and hover lift.
Case studies with the days. Year, discipline, role and days beside the story, with a rich-text body from the CMS.
Paper / Ink switch in the nav, remembered per visitor, with a light and a dark colour set.
Smooth by default. Spring entrances, a 0.5 s smooth scroll, a sticky four-week story and a clients ticker.
