About Parallel — Finance
Parallel is a site for a venture fund, an advisory practice or a research publisher, set like a printed quarterly: warm paper, black ink, one oxblood accent, running heads, footnotes and figures. One light theme, hairlines and grain.
The manifesto inks in word by word as you read, and its footnotes slide into the margin beside the line that cites them. Around it:
two hairlines that drift apart and back as you scroll
four hand-drawn figures: ladder logic, a substation, a Rotterdam-to-Pittsburgh route, a 96-well plate
a portfolio table you filter by sector, with counts and hover letterheads
a live deck queue, a pinned five-step "how we work" and a news ticker
an application form with paper and dark variants
Native Framer throughout: sections, nav, footer, forms, 404 and privacy. Letters, companies, theses, founder quotes and news are CMS collections, and letters and companies each have a detail page /letters/:slug, /companies/:slug). The essay, figures and counters are code components with property controls. 20 colour styles and 32 text styles, Desktop, Tablet and Phone layouts, and reduced motion respected.
