Recently, a few of my websites disappeared from the Sites section on my Framer Expert profile.

At first, I was confused.

These were websites I had designed and built completely in Framer, launched for clients, and previously showcased as part of my Framer work.

But here’s what happened:

some clients eventually moved their websites away from Framer.

And honestly, I understand why.

Sometimes a client needs a landing page for one campaign.

Sometimes the website is finalized and they don’t need regular updates anymore.

With more migration and AI tools available, some clients may also decide another setup is more cost-effective long term.

Personally, I still think Framer is one of the best tools for building and managing websites. The editing experience, animations, CMS, responsiveness, SEO, and overall workflow are incredibly good.

But this creates an interesting problem for Framer Experts.

The project was: • Designed in Framer • Developed in Framer • Hosted and launched on Framer • Successfully delivered

Then, months or years later, the client migrates and that project disappears from the Expert’s Sites portfolio.

So how do we show that work now?

I can’t simply republish a client’s website on a random Framer subdomain just to keep it visible. And I don’t think an Expert’s past work should depend forever on where a client chooses to host their website later.

Maybe Framer could introduce: • Previously Live on Framer • Archived Framer Project • A separate Work section where Experts can showcase previous Framer projects, including Framer subdomains

If a project was previously published and verified through Framer, it could remain attached to the Expert’s profile even if the client later moves away.

The client keeps freedom over their website. The Expert keeps a verified history of the work they created in Framer.

Curious how other Framer Experts are handling this.

If one of your clients moves away from Framer, how do you currently showcase that work?

55:T4af,

You're probably wasting money on marketing.

Not because your ads are bad.

Because your brand isn't memorable.

Most companies think they have a marketing problem.

More often than not, they have a brand identity problem.

You can spend thousands on ads, SEO, content, and social media.

But if your brand isn't recognizable, you're only paying to get forgotten faster.

Brand identity isn't just your logo.

It's the feeling people get when they land on your website

It's the consistency across every touchpoint.

It's what makes someone recognize your brand before they even read your name.

That's why I believe the order matters:

→ Build a memorable brand identity.

→ Create a scalable design system.

→ Apply it consistently across every touchpoint.

→ Then invest in marketing to amplify it.

Marketing creates awareness.

Brand identity creates recognition.

And recognition is what people remember.

Question for founders and marketers: If someone landed on your website without seeing your logo, would they still know it was your brand?

56:T856,

"What's the biggest thing wrong with our website?"

That was one of the questions I was asked during an interview recently.

Most people would probably point out the UI, the animations, the colors, the layout, or maybe the copy.

The answer is simple

Your brand identity.

Yes, the copy needed work.

Yes, the storytelling was weak.

Yes, the design system wasn't consistent.

But all of those are symptoms, not the root problem.

The real issue was that the website didn't feel like it belonged to anyone.

If I copied the same content, used the same components, and published it on another domain, most people wouldn't be able to tell which one was the original brand.

That's a problem.

A great website isn't just a collection of beautiful sections.

It's a brand experience.

Every color, every font, every illustration, every spacing decision, every icon, every image, and every interaction should reinforce the same identity.

That's what makes brands memorable.

In my opinion, this is the order every company should follow:

→ Build a clear brand identity.

→ Turn it into a design system.

→ Apply it consistently across your website, social media, ads, presentations, and product. → Then amplify it with content and marketing.

Too many companies jump straight into marketing.

But marketing can only amplify what's already there.

If your brand has no identity, you're just spending more money, making people forget you faster.

A premium brand isn't remembered because it has fancy animations.

It's remembered because it has a personality that people can recognize instantly.

Here's a question for designers, founders, and marketers:

If someone removed your logo from your website, would people still recognize your brand?

57:T5dc,

Framer 3.0 just dropped and honestly... they cooked. 🔥

Agents on the canvas, Branching, and a full Community rebuild, Marketplace, Feed, Comments, Awards, all in one place. As a Framer guy, I genuinely loved it.

But okay, I have ONE thing to say. 👀

We now have this beautiful community where we can post, comment, browse the marketplace, engage with creators... and we're doing all of it hunched over a desktop?

@Framer @Jorn van Dijk , we need a mobile app for the Community.

Notifications when your component sells. Comments on the go. Browsing the feed while pretending to pay attention in a meeting. You know the vibe.

Just an idea from someone who loves this platform a little too much. Let's hope they read this 🤞

What do you guys think, would you use a Framer Community mobile app?

@Framer, ball's in your court 👀

I thought my Framer components had stopped selling. Turns out, there was a completely different reason.

Over the last month, I noticed that some of my Framer components had almost stopped selling, even though they were performing pretty well before.

Yesterday, I finally checked their rankings and noticed something strange.

Most of them were sitting somewhere in the 4,000s.

Turns out, several of my components were listed under Text, when they actually belong in categories like Sections or Interactions.

I’m not sure if this happened after a Framer update or if I missed something while publishing them, but I’ve updated the categories now.

So, if you came across my components before or missed them completely because they were buried in the wrong place, FAH my bad.

Built a website for PetreX, a metaverse marketing agency.

Someone said "can you make a coin spin in 3D on scroll" and I said sure why not

built entirely in @Framer. no Three.js, no libraries, no shortcuts. just Framer being Framer.

Drop a comment if you want a breakdown of how the coin scroll works, happy to share 👇

And yeah, if you've done something similar in pure Framer, drop the link. genuinely curious to see it.
