Nonprofit websites have a look. Soft blues, rounded corners, a smiling stock photo, a gentle Donate button in the corner.

Volunteer goes the other way. Acid yellow, headlines that shout, and a nav with no background that inverts itself against whatever scrolls underneath.

Here is the criticism I keep making to myself: it might simply be too loud for a good cause. Serious subjects are supposed to look calm and trustworthy. This looks like a sports brand.

So I will just ask you straight. Does the loudness work here, or did I design a nice website for the wrong sector?

Every nonprofit template has the same button. Donate.

Which is fine, until you meet the race organiser three weeks from her event. She is not short of forty euros. She is short of forty humans, in high vis, at a junction, at 6am, in the rain.

So: Volunteer. An events CMS where each event knows the roles it needs and how many people are still missing. A sign-up form instead of a donation form. And copy that argues back with the three classic excuses. No experience: none needed. No time: four hours. I will not know anyone: you will, by lunchtime.

Seven pages, three breakpoints, seven custom code components, zero plugins.

Donate is a great button. It is just not the only ask.

Margin is live, and it's free.

A template for studios selling AI automation and agents. That work is hard to sell because you have to explain it first, so the template does the explaining.

Three custom components carry it. An ROI calculator where the visitor picks their own business domain, then sees hours reclaimed and payback move live.

A flip-card FAQ that turns over in 3D. A scramble-text heading that decodes one marked word instead of the whole line.

It ships bilingual, English and French, every string localised and hreflang wired up.

Nine pages, two CMS collections, black and white and one red.

Remix it, break it, tell me what you'd change.

Just published PETREL, a template for wildlife and conservation nonprofits.

It came out of a real problem. Every winter on Réunion Island, young petrels get pulled off course by coastal lighting and end up grounded, and volunteers walk the road at night to find them. I wanted a site that could carry that kind of story without turning it into a brochure.

Eleven pages, two CMS collections for causes and events, sticky scroll sections and a custom 404. The whole thing is bilingual out of the box, English and French through Framer's native localisation, with a switcher in the header. Every photo is public domain, so there is nothing to license and nothing to swap before launch.

It's free. Happy to take questions or feedback.
