About Media Accordion Pro
Turn images and video into an expandable, cinematic media showcase.
Media Accordion Pro creates a fluid accordion where each project expands into focus with smooth motion, rich project information and optional interactive actions.
Use images, uploaded MP4 video, YouTube or Vimeo — all inside the same component.
✦ Images + Video
Each panel can display an image, uploaded MP4, YouTube video or Vimeo video.
Videos automatically play and loop while their panel is active, then pause when another project takes focus.
✦ Expandable Media Panels
Hover, click or tap through projects as the active panel smoothly expands while surrounding panels collapse into a compact visual index.
Choose horizontal or vertical layouts and fine-tune active and collapsed proportions.
✦ Project Overlays
Clicking an active panel can open a responsive detail overlay containing larger media, category, year, description, additional project information and an optional CTA.
✦ Flexible Click Actions
Every project can independently:
• Open the detail overlay • Navigate to another page on your site • Open an external URL
✦ Responsive + Touch Friendly
Desktop layouts automatically adapt into a swipeable mobile experience with configurable breakpoint and mobile height.
✦ Polished Interaction
Includes image parallax, hover zoom, autoplay, progress indicators, custom cursor labels, overlays, typography controls and reduced-motion support.
✦ Optional Playground
Enable a compact interactive control so visitors can browse projects, toggle autoplay and motion, and preview project details.
Perfect for portfolios, agencies, architecture, photography, fashion, case studies, products and visual storytelling.
Fully customizable directly in Framer. No code required.
